The Jeep Compass is introducing a total redesign for the 2022 model year! This crossover SUV has been adored by many drivers throughout the years, and now it’s back and better than ever before. This redesign is bringing new features into the mix, both inside and out. From the exterior, the Jeep Compass now has a sleek and understated look, with a revised front and rear fascia design. It also has new features like an upgraded infotainment system, and a new and improved standard safety package, found on all five trim levels! Speaking of trim levels, the Latitude LUX is brand-new this year, and comes with a wealth of new and luxurious features for all five passengers to enjoy. The entire lineup consists of the Sport, Latitude, Latitude LUX, Trailhawk, and Limited, all of which are powered by the 2.4-liter Tigershark 4-cylinder engine. Sport
The first trim level in the 2022 Jeep Compass lineup is the Sport. This model comes with standard LED headlights with slim horizontal fixtures, 16-inch wheels, and the new and improved standard safety package. The package includes features like blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and more! Inside, the Sport features five seats with a 60/40 split-folding rear bench, a standard 6-speaker sound system, and the Uconnect 5 infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen. The system offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as satellite radio. Other features include heated side mirrors, roof rails, and USB ports for both the front and rear seats.

Latitude
The Latitude trim shares the same standard features in common with the Sport, such as the Uconnect 5 infotainment system, and the upgraded safety suite. In addition, it also has its own unique features that enhance the driving experience for everyone on board. For example, the Latitude has cornering fog lights in round fixtures situated right under the headlights. It also has larger 17-inch wheels for a stronger road presence, and a keyless entry and ignition system with push-button start. This allows you to easily unlock your car once your keys are within range, without having to actually remove them from your bag or pocket. Other features include an upgraded faux-leather upholstery, and black-painted roof rails.

Latitude LUX
As we mentioned above, the Latitude LUX was just added for the 2022 model year, and it serves as the new midpoint for the lineup. At this level, you’ll find a more luxurious theme overall, with features like leather upholstery, ambient interior overhead lights, illuminated visitors, and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel. The front seats are heated as well, for added comfort on chilly winter mornings. The Latitude LUX even features a remote start system that allows you to get your car started and warmed up before you even step inside! Other features for the Latitude LUX include 18-inch wheels, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen.

Trailhawk
If you want some added capability out of your Compass, then the Trailhawk is the trim level for you! This model is Jeep Trail Rated, thanks to its exceptional off-road prowess. For example, the Trailhawk can tow up to 2,000 pounds, and ford up to 19 inches of water! It comes equipped with standard 4X4 utilizing the Jeep Active Drive Low system, providing the Trailhawk with a 20:1 crawl ratio. For improved handling and performance, the Trailhawk also comes with the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System with multiple different drive modes. The Trailhawk also comes with all-season tires, steel underbody skid plates, and red tow hooks. Its 1-inch lift paired with a 30-degree approach angle helps you navigate uneven terrain!

Limited
Last, but certainly not least, the Limited is the final trim level in the Jeep Compass lineup for 2022! This model follows along the same lines as the Latitude LUX, but it kicks things up a notch with its luxurious and sleek design. The Limited comes with a 9-speaker premium Alpine audio system, heated power-adjustable front seats with two-way lumbar support, and even a wireless smartphone charging pad! The Limited offers a new interior color option for 2022, which features Slate Grey leather and Burnished Copper accent stitching. There’s also a bold look for the exterior, with a Gloss Black roof for a two-tone appearance.
