Power for the Jeep Renegade

While only one engine option is available for the Renegade, it’s certainly powerful enough to get you from place to place. When you lift up the hood of the Renegade, you will be treated to a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder which pumps out an incredible 177 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. You can pair this engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission that gives you a smooth and capable ride on and off the road. If you decide on the Sport, the front-wheel-drive comes standard, while all-wheel-drive is an available option. If you decide on the off-road capable Trailhawk, you will get a specialized four-wheel-drive system.

Innovative Standard Features for the Renegade

In addition to the spectacular power of the Renegade, you also get several available features no matter what version of the Renegade you go with. We start with the base trim, known as the Sport, which comes with a 7-inch Uconnect 4 system with Android Auto, Apple Carplay, and SiriusXM. Wondering if the Renegade is safe? Well, wonder no more! The Sport has several advanced safety systems, including blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and a backup camera. The higher trims of the Jeep Renegade provide drivers and passengers with more advanced items. We continue with the Latitude, which has automatic headlights, roof rails, an extra USB port, and 17-inch alloy wheels. You also have access to an Altitude package with more goodies such as black exterior trim, black 18-inch wheels, and black interior trim. If you want some more advanced luxury items, you will get them with the Limited trim as it has leather seating, remote start, an 8.4-inch infotainment system with navigation, and HD Radio.
