The Jeep Wrangler brings you the power with all of its incredible engines. Coming standard is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, which is available with Jeep’s eTorque mild hybrid system, which improves the fuel economy. Pairing with this engine is either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. Optional is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that provides drivers with 270 horses and 295 lb-ft of torque. The Four-door version of the Wrangler also has the option of a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 diesel that has 260 horse and an astounding 442 lb-ft of torque. Both of these engines are available with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The plug-in hybrid version of the Wrangler, which adds hybrid elements to the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, is scheduled to be released later in the year.

What can you tell me about the Wrangler’s features?

There are four trim levels and several sub-trims available for the Jeep Wrangler, and each comes with a ton of fun features. Starting off the trim lineup is the Sport, which comes with 7-inch steel wheels, skid plates, tow hooks, foglights, and a 5-inch touchscreen. There is a Willy’s sub-trim of the Sport that adds to this with four-wheel disk brakes, limited-slip rear differential, and all-weather floor mats. Moving up to the Sport S adds even more fun features such as alloy wheels, air conditioning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and power windows and locks. The Altitude version of the Sport S adds an upgraded off-road suspension and black interior and exterior accents. Just past the midway point of the Sahara trim, which adds a lot more tech features such as full-time four-wheel drive, automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Altitude version gets you leather seats. If you’re looking for epic off-road prowess, the Rubicon is your best bet as it comes with 17-inch wheels with 33-inch off-road tires and more massive fender flares, 4:1 low-range gearing, an electronic disconnecting front stabilizer bar, and rock rails.

What are the safety features of the Wrangler?

Jeep has designed the Jeep Wrangler as one of the safest vehicles on the road thanks to a wide range of safety systems. Available is a Blind-Spot Monitoring System that monitors vehicles in the other lane and lets you know when one of them is in your blind spot. Also available is an Adaptive Cruise Control System, which lets you maintain a pre-set distance between the Wrangler and the vehicles in front of it. The last system we are going to talk about is the Automatic High Beam Headlamps that can sense when they are needed and when they’re not while at the same time not blinding the oncoming traffic.
