The iconic Wrangler is offered in two body styles again in the 2019 model year. The two-door sits up to four passengers while the four-door seats up to five and is called the Unlimited. There are a total of four trim levels available, one of which is exclusive to the Unlimited body style. They include the Sport, Sport S, Sahara (four-doors only!), and the Rubicon. Standard features for the 2019 model year consist of auxiliary and USB audio inputs, a driver info display, fold-down windshield, removable doors and roof, full-size spare tire, cruise control, a rearview camera, eight-speaker sound system, a 5” touchscreen interface, Bluetooth, cloth upholstery, air conditioning, 17-inch steel wheels, fog lights, tow hooks, and skid plates. As you climb up the trim levels you will encounter features like larger touchscreen options (7” and 8.4”), leather upholstery, premium audio systems, keyless entry, rock rails, automatic headlights, smartphone integration, and driver assistance features. Off-roading features found within the trim levels include rock rails, heavy-duty front and rear axles, off-roading tires, and more!

What kind of powertrain options are available?

There are two incredible engine options in charge of powering the 2019 Wrangler. Up first we have the standard option. This 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine cranks out up to 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine’s fuel economy ranges from 23-25 mpg on the highway depending on body style and transmission. The two transmission matches available for this engine include a six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic. Up next, is the mind-blowingly powerful turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder. This engine pumps out up to 268 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy depends on the body style you opt for, ranging from 24-25 miles per gallon on the highway. This engine is only available with the 8-speed automatic transmission. There are three 4×4 systems offered in the 2019 model year. They include the Command-Trac and Selec-Trac for the Sport through Sahara models and the Rock-Trac for the Rubicon model.
